The meeting, held in Vancouver, ended with a score of 3: 2 (1:0, 1:0, 0:2, 1:0) in favor of the guests. As part of the winners, goals were scored by Mitchell McLane (13th minute), Ben Jones (19) and Michael Stone (63). Vancouver scored Russian forward Vasily Podkolzin (49) and Conor Garland (59), assisted by another Russian striker Andrey Kuzmenko.
