Popova, the girlfriend of a participant in the Mayakovsky Readings, said that she was first “kicked”, then picked up by her hair, calling her “Nazi scum”. The security forces also stuck stickers on her face with superglue. Alexandra added that the security forces “five of them threatened her with collective rape while they raped Artyom.”

Daineko was detained the day before, immediately after the Mayakovsky Readings, then he drew up a protocol under the article on violation of the rules for holding rallies (20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was left in the temporary detention center for 48 hours before the meeting on choosing a preventive measure in the criminal case. Menyukov, who was detained along with Popova and Kamardin, was released after interrogation as a witness.
Traditional poetry evenings at the monument to Vladimir Mayakovsky in Moscow were held on September 25. In Soviet times, dissidents were regular participants in the Mayakovsky Readings. This time, the participants declared them “anti-mobilization”.
