MOSCOW, Sep 27 Russian Ekaterina Lahno defeated Chinese Zhu Jin'er in the ninth game round at the first stage of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Grand Prix series, which takes place in Astana, and single-handedly led the tournament table. The game in which Lahno played with black pieces ended after the 32nd move. In other games of the game day, Russian Alexandra Goryachkina played a draw with Kazakhstan's Zhansaya Abdumalik, Alexandra Kosteniuk beat Rameshbaba Vaishali from India with white pieces, and Polina Shuvalova beat Chinese Tan Zhongyi with black pieces. According to the results of nine games, Lahno is in the lead with seven points, Goryachkina is second (6.5 points). Zhu Jin'er and Kosteniuk scored five points each. Shuvalova has 3.5 points to her credit.
