LUGANSK, Sep 27 reported the representative office of the republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine. The British company BAE Systems and the American Lockheed Martin developed the multiple launch rocket system on the M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) wheeled chassis. It has been manufactured in the USA since 2003. It can carry six rockets or one ATACMS operational-tactical ballistic missile. After the start of the special operation, Russia sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that such cargoes are becoming a legitimate target for the Russian military. Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. Vladimir Putin called its task «the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the President, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions guaranteeing the security of Russia itself.
