Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova invited the children of the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach to refuse him if he calls for the admission of Russian athletes who will not support the special operation in Ukraine to international starts. Earlier, the head of the IOC, Bach, in an interview with the Italian edition of Corriere della Sera, said that Russian athletes who do not support the special operation in Ukraine should be allowed to participate in international competitions in a neutral status. «We are the children of our country. If Thomas Bach has his own children, then I suggest that they give up their dad,» Tarasova said. Whether Russian athletes will follow the call of the head of the IOC, Tarasova replied: “About athletes: I don’t think about it and I don’t advise you.”
