Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the site of the audio streaming platform SoundCloud. The mobile application of the service is still working, notes the edition of Podcasts.ru podcasts.
The Roskomnadzor registry explains the blocking of the SoundCloud website by the requirement of the Prosecutor General's Office dated September 22.
According to the telegram bot RKN Dump Check, the claims concerned the account of the Russian service of Radio Liberty, the blocking affected the entire SoundCloud domain.

In addition to independent musicians, authors of podcasts, including Mediazona, posted their work on SoundCloud. After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General's Office demanded that the platforms remove the Mediazones podcast «Fuck the War», as well as the podcasts of the BBC, Kholod, Doxa and other publications dedicated to the war.
