" The EU has proposed to exclude the services of pilots from the sanctions against Russia, which should come into force in December", the agency said.
It is noted that the exception will allow shipowners to hire specialist pilots to guide ships, in particular , through the straits of Denmark. These waters are used to transport crude oil and fuel from Russia. Earlier it was reported that sanctions against Russian oil could affect the operation of a maritime transshipment point in Denmark. Due to new restrictions, there will be a ban on hiring specialist pilots from European companies to guide ships through the Danish straits. After the start of a special operation in Ukraine, the West increased sanctions pressure on Moscow, which led to an increase in prices for electricity, fuel and food in Europe and USA. President Vladimir Putin has said that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy for the West, and the restrictions have dealt a serious blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to worsen the lives of millions of people.
