Earlier it became known that the DPRK launched a medium-range ballistic missile, releasing it towards the Sea of Japan. The projectile flew over the territory of Japan and fell in the Pacific Ocean outside the exclusive economic zone of the country. The flight range, according to the Japanese military, is about 4.6 thousand kilometers, and the maximum flight altitude is one thousand kilometers. The South Korean military said the ballistic missile had a maximum speed of Mach 17. North Korea conducted several launches last week. All of the projectiles were believed to be ballistic, some of them flying along a non-standard trajectory.
