
MOSCOW, Oct 4 Ottawa Senators goaltender Cam Talbot out of action for a period of five to seven weeks due to an upper body injury, according to the NHL website. In this regard, Ottawa took goaltender Magnus Hellberg, whom the Seattle Cracken put up for a waiver draft. In July, Talbot moved to the Senators as a result of a trade from Minnesota. Talbot is the 2016 world champion in Russia as part of the Canadian team. Previously, he also played for the Calgary, Philadelphia, Edmonton and Rangers. He played 396 games in the NHL, passing an average of 2.63 goals and reflecting 91.5% of shots per game. The new NHL season starts on October 7 in Prague with a match between the Nashville Predators and the San Jose Sharks.
