File photoWASHINGTON, Oct 4NASA is not short of staff in Russia, despite US authorities' advice to Americans to leave Russia, said NASA ISS program manager Joel Montalbano. «Now we are fully staffed,» said a NASA representative during a briefing on the forthcoming launch of the international crew to the ISS on Wednesday on the Crew Dragon spacecraft. He was asked if NASA is experiencing a staff shortage amid the US State Department's recommendation to US citizens to leave Russia. According to a NASA spokesman, the agency maintains regular contact with the US embassy in Moscow. «Now I do not expect the impact (of the current situation — ed.) on the upcoming launch of Soyuz next spring, we have enough necessary staff,» a representative of the US space department assured.
