MOSCOW, Oct 4, Vasily Bogdanov. Three-time winner of the Bobsleigh World Cup stages Ilvir Khuzin said that he had received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office in connection with partial mobilization and was ready for any challenges.
" Apparently, I was invited to verify documents, – said the athlete. – So far I can’t get there — I’m sick, I’m sitting at home with a temperature. As soon as I get better, I will immediately come to the military registration and enlistment office. I take it easy, ready for any challenge. Maybe they will make some kind of reservation, but I personally do not deal with this issue", – Khuzin said.
On September 21, President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia by his decree. He said that reserve servicemen with experience in military service, who have military registration specialties in demand among the troops, will be called up. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu specified that it is planned to call up to 300,000 people.
