Head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin said that he did not know anything about the possible appointment of Rubin Kazan's head coach Leonid Slutsky to a position in the national teams committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU). Earlier, the RB Sport portal reported that the RFU plans to transform the technical committee for national teams into separate organ. Slutsky should become one of the members of the committee. «Are you mocking me or what, this is the first time I've heard about it. Find out at the RFU. I don't understand what you're talking about,» said Karpin. The final decision on the changes will be approved at meeting of the executive committee of the RFU on October 5.
