
MOSCOW, Oct 5 Acting Secretary General of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Maxim Mitrofanov was approved in his post, according to the official Telegram channel of the organization. A meeting of the RFU executive committee is taking place on Wednesday. Mitrofanov was appointed acting general secretary of the RFU in mid-August, replacing Alexander Alaev, who was elected president of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
