MOSCOW, Oct 5, Alexander Sergeev. Rubin Kazan head coach Leonid Slutsky joined the committee of national teams of the Russian Football Union (RFU), according to the organization's Telegram channel. The composition of the committee was approved at a meeting of the RFU executive committee on Wednesday. It is a new body in Russian football. Nikita Simonyan became its chairman, Andrey Leksakov became his deputy. Sergey Simkachev will be the responsible secretary. The members of the committee also included the former chairman of the ethics committee Semyon Andreev, Slutsky, the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin, as well as Yuri Krasnozhan, Alexander Mirzoyan, Mikhail Gershkovich, Boris Ignatiev, Oleg Kornaukhov, Maxim Savostin and Sergei Ovchinnikov.
