The judge of the world precinct No. 152, Anna Popova, has appointed a year of restriction of freedom to local resident Nikolai Vorotnev for drawing Ukrainian flags on howitzers. This was reported by the press service of the courts of the city.
Vorotnev was found guilty of vandalism based on «political hostility» to the military stationed in Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code). The Petersburger admitted his guilt, apologized and «took measures to compensate for the damage.» He is forbidden to travel outside the district and change his place of residence and work during the year.
