
MOSCOW, Oct 8 French driver Pierre Gasly will continue his career in the Alpin Formula 1 team, according to the organization's Twitter page. At the moment, he plays for Alfa Tauri, this season he is 13th in the drivers standings, gaining 23 points. In total, he has three podium finishes in Formula 1, including winning the 2020 Italian Grand Prix. At Alpin, he will replace the Spaniard Fernando Alonso, who left for Aston Martin. The Dutchman Nick de Vries, who is the champion of Formula 2 (2019) and Formula E, will replace Gasly at Alfa Tauri from 2023 ( 2020/21).
