On behalf of the Spaniard, the words were published: «I hope you respect me. I'm gay. Happy Sunday everyone.» After that, Casillas deleted the post. Later, the ex-footballer explained the situation by hacking his account. «Unfortunately, my account was hacked. Now everything is in order. I apologize to the subscribers. And, of course, to those who were offended by these words,» wrote Casillas. During his career, the goalkeeper three times won the Champions League with Real Madrid. He also became the winner of the World Cup and twice took the European Championship trophy as part of the Spanish national team.
