Archive photoMOSCOW, Oct. 9Zimbabwe hopes for a visit by a Russian parliamentary delegation in 2023, Speaker of the National Assembly of the republic's Parliament Jacob Mudenda said in an interview with RIA Novosti. «We hope that the delegation led by the speaker of the State Duma will respond to my visit, and we will be happy to welcome him and the Russian delegation to Zimbabwe,» Mudenda, who visited Moscow at the end of September, said. «It would be better if they (the Russian delegation — ed.) arrived in the first quarter of next year, since in the second quarter we will be preparing for the elections and it will be a busy period of our election cycle.
