MOSCOW, Oct 11 Former National Basketball Association (NBA) player Ben Gordon was arrested at a New York airport for abusing his 10-year-old son, according to the New York Post. It is reported that the police arrested 39-year-old Gordon, who was trying to fly to Chicago, after he hit his son. The boy, accompanied by his aunt, was sent to the hospital for examination. It is also noted that two officers received minor injuries during the arrest of the ex-basketball player, who has not yet been charged. Previously, Gordon was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery, as well as for driving a car with fake license plates. In the NBA, Gordon played from 2004 to 2015 for Chicago, Detroit, Charlotte and Orlando. In 2005, he was recognized as the best sixth player in the association.
