MOSCOW, Oct 11 Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova refused to participate in the category tournament WTA 500 in San Diego, USA, according to the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Twitter page. The reason for the refusal was a shoulder injury. In the first round, the 12th racket of the world had to play with the owner of the wild card American Sloan Stevens (52nd racket of the world).
