File photoMOSCOW, Oct 11Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Venezuelan Foreign Minister Carlos Faria, during a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday, discussed the implementation of joint projects and agreed on steps to build bilateral ties in a number of areas, the Russian diplomatic department said. «The ministers noted the dynamic development of political dialogue and practical cooperation in line with strategic partnerships. We discussed the implementation of joint projects, agreed on steps to increase bilateral ties in various fields,» the commentary on the ministry's website reads. At the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the parties «agreed to further strengthen foreign policy coordination in various multilateral formats in the interests of forming a more just, democratic world order based on respect for the principles and norms of international law.» The Russian side provided the necessary clarifications in connection with the acceptance of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation in accordance with the exercised right of these regions to self-determination,» the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed. «The unlawful unilateral coercive measures used as an instrument of interference in affairs of sovereign states. The Russian side confirmed support for the efforts of the Bolivarian authorities to strengthen political and economic stability in the country,» the ministry added. In the context of discussing the situation in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Russian side expressed its desire to develop mutually respectful dialogue and cooperation with all countries of the region in a constructive manner,
