Tsibaneva is suspected of desecrating a burial place for reasons of political or ideological hostility (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code).
As the son told Mediazona Petersburg woman Maxim Tsybanev, on October 6 she went to the Serafimovskoye cemetery and left a note on the grave, and on the morning of October 10 a policeman came to her house.
From the materials of the case filed in court, the contents of the note became known: “Parents of the maniac, take him to your place, he causes so much pain and trouble, the whole world prays for his death <nrzb> Death to Putin, you raised a freak and a murderer.”
Tsybanova did not deny in court that she had written the note. According to her, this happened after she «looked at the news, I realized that everything is very scary, everything is very sad, there are a lot of dead.»
