Archival photoMOSCOW, Oct 13Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in a conversation with pranksters, admitted that the counteroffensive in southern Ukraine was being prepared together with the United States and Britain. «I will tell you frankly that in close cooperation with our partners, primarily with the United States and Great Britain, we were preparing a counter-offensive operation in the south,» Kuleba said, talking with pranksters Vovan and Lexus, who posed as ex-US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, the video was posted on their Telegram channel. He said that the United States should overcome the «psychological barrier» and start supplying Ukraine with air defense systems and Abrams tanks, «even some old ones, we are ready to accept them.» «The first question is, of course, weapons. It seems to me that the United States should now overcome the psychological barrier… and hand over to Ukraine in one of the following packages, announce at least Patriot air defense systems and long-range missiles,» he said, assuring that Kyiv would not strike at Russian territory using these missiles.
