Military Commissar of the Perm Territory Alexander Kokovin said that in the region, despite the presidential decree, people without combat experience are being mobilized. He announced this live, which was broadcast by the Permsky Krai group on VKontakte.
According to Kokovin, the document does not oblige military registration and enlistment offices to recruit only people with combat experience, it is a recommendation.
“Of course, we adhere to this, but not all of us have combat experience. To do this, combat coordination is carried out for ten days in the area of the training ground. Then people arrive in the area of the special operation, where they will still have additional classes directly with those instructors who have combat experience, ”the military commissar noted.
Kokovin also assured viewers on the air that «no one is going to cross» the number of conscripts announced by the president as part of a «partial» mobilization. At the same time, subpoenas will continue to be issued in the region, and those mobilized will be sent to training centers in stages, since there are currently no places there.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Vladimir Putin promised that a total of 300,000 people will be called up — reservists and «people with combat experience», however, the presidential decree on mobilization does not contain clear criteria for the number of conscripts and allows anyone to be called up.
After the announcement of «partial» mobilization, several deaths of conscripts became known. October 3 — about the death of two mobilized in the Tyumen region and in the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School. Three more died in the Yelansky garrison of the training center of the Ministry of Defense in the village of Poroshino. On October 4, it became known about the death of a Krasnoyarsk citizen in the military unit of Omsk. Also, while studying at the Penza training ground, a 41-year-old man died of a heart attack.
In addition, the mother of conscript Alexander Koltun told about the death of his son on the fourth day of his stay in the training unit. Another conscript died after falling out of the window of a rallying point in Yakutia, and a conscript from Snezhinsk and lawyer Andrey Nikiforov also died.
