The President of Russia arrived in Astana on the morning of October 13. The head of state spoke at the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia. On October 14, Putin will take part in a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State and in the Russia-Central Asia summit. Putin also held meetings with the Emir of Qatar, the President of Palestine, the President of Turkey and trilateral talks with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
