MOSCOW, Oct 17 Chinese Royal Never Give Up (RNG) player Lu Yao (Somnus丶M) contracted the coronavirus during the Dota 2 World Championship — The International 11, according to the Chinese organization's Weibo page. Two Chinese player tests for coronavirus showed a positive result. Somnus was unable to finish the second map of the group stage match against compatriots from PSG.LGD due to poor health, in connection with which RNG received a technical defeat with a score of 0-2. At the same time, Somnus was able to return for the second match of the day against Hokori. This case of infection was the second in the tournament, the day before, PSG.LGD manager Wang Changqi was diagnosed with coronavirus. The team reported the infection to the organizers late and was fined.Somnus丶M, 26 years old, is the silver (2018) and bronze (2015, 2019) winner of The International. The tournament will end on October 30th.
