MOSCOW, Oct 19 Latvia decided to boycott the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) due to the participation of representatives of Russia and Belarus in it. Earlier, the Inside the Games portal reported that more than ten national Olympic committees spoke out against the presence of a delegation of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) at the General Assembly. Latvia also threatened to boycott if the Russians participated. The head of the ROC, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, plans to speak at the forum with a report from the commission on education and culture. Representatives of Latvia are absent from the meeting of the general assembly, which is taking place on October 19-20 in Seoul.
