MOSCOW, Oct 23 couples at the first stage of the Russian Grand Prix, which takes place in Moscow. In the sum of two programs, Khabibullina and Knyazhuk scored 224.47 points. The second place was taken by Olympic silver medalists Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov (221.07), who were in the lead after the short program, Daria Boyarintseva and Roman Pleshkov (207.27) took the third place. The Grand Prix series includes six tournaments that will be hosted by Moscow (twice ), Sochi, Kazan, Samara and Perm. The Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) on March 1, against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, suspended Russian and Belarusian figure skaters, speed skaters and short track skaters from participating in international tournaments. In June, the ISU Congress approved this decision, it will remain in effect until further notice.
