In 75 Russian regions, military registration and enlistment offices had mobilized at least 431,000 people by the first half of October, and almost 500,000 throughout Russia. This is evidenced by the study «Mediazona».
Mediazona calculated the number of men called up for war, based on data on the increase in the number of weddings after the announcement of mobilization. Receiving a summons allows you to get married immediately on the day you apply, in other cases you need to wait at least a month. Therefore, September broke records in the number of marriages only at the expense of those mobilized.
In total, in 75 regions for which there is accurate data, 31,000 «accelerated» weddings were played. Thanks to census knows how many men live in each region who are in a relationship without a passport stamp. This allows you to calculate the percentage of those who received a summons and went to the registry office.
The average percentage of mobilization in Russia is 1.56%. The east of Russia fell under the draft most of all, Moscow the least.
