Ovechkin, 37, is a graduate of Dynamo Moscow, with which he won the Gagarin Cup in 2013. The forward became a three-time world champion as part of the Russian national team. In 2018, he won the Stanley Cup with Washington. Ovechkin is the third-best scorer in NHL history with 783 goals. He is 18 goals behind second-placed Gordie Howe. Wayne Gretzky is in the lead (894).
