MOSCOW, Oct 25 Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov spoke about the prospect of integration of Crimean clubs. Earlier, the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said in his Telegram channel that the teams would start playing in Russian tournaments in the 2023/24 season. The FNL confirmed work in this direction. «If we talk about Crimea and Sevastopol, then we must proceed from the fact that they are subjects of the country. Everyone has equal rights. Including the right to take part in competitions. The RFU has the right and the need to integrate the Crimean football federation into the organization,” Koloskov told Sport-Express. Football clubs from Crimea participated in the championship and the Russian Cup in 2014. However, the UEFA Executive Committee banned teams from January 1, 2015 from playing in Russian tournaments.
