In Ulyanovsk, a 17-year-old local resident was detained, suspected of plotting the massacre of students from his former school. This was reported by the local department of the UK.
The teenager was accused of publicly justifying terrorism (part 1 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), preparing to kill (part 1 of article 30, paragraphs «a», «c», «e» of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) and illegal possession of ammunition (Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code).
According to a Kommersant source close to law enforcement agencies, the arrested person is a second-year student at the Polenov Ulyanovsk Medical College. The interlocutor claims that during the search, cartridges for the Makarov pistol, the plan of school No. 66 and the young man's personal diary were found in the apartment. The gun itself was not found.
According to the IC, the student, while studying at college, “publicly expressed his approval of terrorist acts” and spoke of his desire to kill students of the school where he had previously studied. To do this, he bought ammunition and found out the plan of the school and the instructions for preparing a Molotov cocktail.
The teenager does not admit guilt, Kommersant notes. He was arrested.
