MOSCOW, 28 Oct. On the initiative of the management, Lokomotiv established a special award for coaches of the academy, whose pupils have played more than five matches for the main team of railway workers, according to the website of the Moscow football club. This year, the award was given to specialists who coached midfielders Artem Karpukas and Maxim Petrov (now playing on loan at Alania Vladikavkaz), as well as goalkeeper Daniil Khudyakov. Last season, they all played more than five matches. «There are many pupils of our academy playing in the main team, so it was very important for us to note the contribution of coaches who educate players from the very beginning of their professional career. Unfortunately, in the football industry there are specialists who bring players to the first team, as a rule, goes unnoticed and is poorly paid. We decided to break this trend and, together with one of our partners, established such an award. Our plans are to create a general fund for the regular payment of such incentives, «said the CEO of Lokomotiv » Vladimir Leonchenko. Previously, Lokomotiv was recognized as the best among Russian clubs in terms of the number of pupils in the top football leagues in Europe, according to the International Center for Sports Research (CIES).
