Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin on the mobilization of 300,000 people — that's how many people the Ministry of Defense promised to call up as part of «partial mobilization.» The meeting was broadcast on the Kremlin's telegram channel.
“The task you set — 300 thousand people — has been completed. No additional tasks are planned,» Shoigu said.
According to the minister, 218 thousand mobilized people are now at the training grounds. In addition, 82,000 people are in combat units, of which 41,000 operate as part of combat units.
Shoigu assured that all the rest of the mobilized, with the exception of 41,000, «are still being trained.»
At the end of the broadcast meeting, Putin thanked those who joined the Russian Armed Forces. At the same time, he did not announce the completion of the mobilization. As Pavel Chikov, head of Agora, noted earlier, a corresponding decree from Putin is needed to complete the mobilization.
Let's get married. The increase in the number of weddings shows that by mid-October, at least 492 thousand people were mobilized in Russia
