File photoBRUSSELS, Oct 28 The European Union welcomes the agreement between Israel and Lebanon on the demarcation of the maritime border and encourages the parties to continue their engagement, the European External Action Service said in a statement. «This historic agreement will contribute to the stability of the two neighboring states, and the entire region. The EU calls on both sides to continue constructive interaction,» the document says. Earlier, Lebanon and Israel, which formally remain at war with each other, agreed to divide the disputed area of the Mediterranean Sea and will now be able to begin developing natural gas reserves located there .The European Union will support Tajikistan with the strengthening of the border with Afghanistan
