MOSCOW, Nov 22 A fisherman from the UK caught a giant 30- kilogram «golden» carp while fishing in the north of France, Sky News TV channel reports.
It is noted that the fish caught by the 43-year-old fisherman is a cross between leathery carp and koi carp. The British nicknamed his prey Carrot.
The fisherman added that he had been going to France for fishing for several years, and he knew that the local lake was inhabited by an «elusive carp» that no one had been able to catch for more than three years. The Briton was able to catch the carp in 25 minutes. However, soon the carp was released back into the lake.
