MOSCOW, Dec 5 UK opposition Labor Party leader Keir Starmer confirmed his intention to abolish the House of Lords (upper house of the British Parliament) in case of victory in the general election. Earlier, the British Guardian newspaper, citing a document by former British Prime Minister and former Labor leader Gordon Brown, reported that the Labor Party in the UK may abolish the House of Lords and replace it with the «Upper House of Nations and Regions» if it wins the next general election.
