MOSCOW, Dec 10 US court sentences ex-cop Jay Kang, who was involved in the arrest of African-American George Floyd, is sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for aiding and abetting manslaughter, according to ABC.

According to Reuters, Kang will serve two terms in parallel, in July he was sentenced to three years in prison «on federal charges related to the murder of Floyd» .
Kang with colleagues Thomas Lane and Tou Tao were previously found guilty of failing to provide medical attention and stop another police officer, Derek Chauvin, who was already convicted of killing Floyd in an attempted arrest on May 25, 2020 in the city of Minneapolis.
Lane has already been sentenced to two and a half years in prison, Chauvin received 20 years for violating Floyd's rights in addition to 22.5 years for murder.
