MELITOPOL, Dec 10 The air defense system worked over Melitopol in Zaporizhia region, a correspondent reports.
It is specified that about five explosions were heard in the city at about 20:40 Moscow time. According to preliminary data, the air defense system worked.
The situation on the front line in the Zaporozhye region remains alarming: Ukrainian troops have been waiting there for several weeks, although the situation is stable today. As the administration of the region reported at the end of October, Energodar from the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as well as Melitopol and Berdyansk, could become the main directions of a possible attack.
