MOSCOW, Dec 13 aviation, now discussions are underway on the implementation of joint projects for the production of aircraft, helicopters, as well as the organization of maintenance of air transport, said the deputy head of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade Manouchehr Mantegi.
Discussion of joint projects between Tehran and Moscow is being of the Iranian International Air Show, which takes place on the island of Kish in the Persian Gulf from December 13 to 16.
«As part of the 11th Iranian International Air Show, cooperation between the aviation industries of Iran and Russia in the field of organizing the maintenance and repair of commercial aircraft is being discussed , production by the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers of Russia of aircraft with a capacity of 100 to 150 people, as well as cooperation in the design and production of aircraft for 70-100 people and Ka-226 helicopters in Iran,» Tasnim quoted Mantegi as saying.
At the end of November, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, the head of the Iranian Trade Development Organization, Alireza Peymanpak, reported that Iran had agreed with the Russian Federation on the implementation of joint projects, including in the field of aircraft manufacturing.
