Employees of the Vladimir IK-6 with a strict regime sent Alexei Navalny to a punishment cell for 12 days. Companions posted his letter on the oppositionist's telegram channel.
The penalty was imposed because the politician «used the word 'damn' in a conversation with a cellmate.»
This is already the ninth time when Navalny is sent to punishment cell IK-6. He was transferred there in June 2022 after a new conviction.

Penalties began to be imposed on the politician after he announced the creation of a trade union for prisoners in August and began to challenge the conditions of detention. Among the reasons were an unbuttoned button and the fact that he did not remove his hands behind his back when he walked down the corridor. In December, Navalny was reprimanded because of the word “fuck” while washing.
On November 17, it became known that the politician was transferred to a cell-type room (PKT) — a cell with a stricter regime. If in ShIZO, according to the rules of the order, you can be placed for a period of up to 15 days, then in a PKT — for a period of up to six months. During their stay there, convicts are allowed one short visit and one package every six months.
