The Ivanovo Regional Court granted a reprieve from serving a term to former lawyer Olga Lukmanova until her youngest five-year-old son turns 14. This was reported by Kommersant.
In 2021, Olga Lukmanova, who defended the Colonel of the Investigative Committee Alexander Lamonov in the case of a bribe from Shakro Molodoy, was assigned three years in a penal colony. After the verdict, she was stripped of her status.

Lukmanova served three months in IK-3 in Kineshma, Ivanovo Region, and three months later she was transferred to Moscow, to the women's pre-trial detention center-6 «Pechatniki ”, to participate in the consideration of cassation complaints. After the court's decision, she was released on the evening of December 15.
The Russian courts «practically do not apply the rule on the postponement of the execution of the sentence,» said Yury Avdeev, Lukmanova's lawyer. The Criminal Procedure Code also gives the right to a deferment for the treatment of an illness or chemical addiction (Article 398).
Lukmanova was sentenced in a case of attempted fraud (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, the lawyer promised her other client, a Moscow district police officer, for 4 million rubles to ensure that he was not sent to a pre-trial detention center and the criminal case was dropped. She was detained in 2017 while receiving 750 thousand rubles.
Lukmanova said that the money was a fee for work from her client, who “due to a hopeless situation” began “to work together with employees of the "M" FSB» and wrote a statement to her. Department «M» of the FSB, which deals with combating corruption in law enforcement agencies, investigated the Lamonov case. Lukmanov's lawyer said that the FSB officers persuaded her to testify against him.
