Lukmanova served three months in IK-3 in Kineshma, Ivanovo Region, and three months later she was transferred to Moscow, to the women's pre-trial detention center-6 «Pechatniki ”, to participate in the consideration of cassation complaints. Lukmanova was sentenced in a case of attempted fraud (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, the lawyer promised her other client, a Moscow district police officer, for 4 million rubles to ensure that he was not sent to a pre-trial detention center and the criminal case was dropped. She was detained in 2017 while receiving 750 thousand rubles.
Lukmanova said that the money was a fee for work from her client, who “due to a hopeless situation” began “to work together with employees of the "M" FSB» and wrote a statement to her.
