The Interior Ministry put the gallery owner Marat Gelman on the federal wanted list. Mediazona drew attention to this.
The card indicates that Gelman is wanted under a criminal article, however, it is unknown under which one.

The Ministry of Justice entered the gallery owner in the register of media outlets as «foreign agents» in December last year. Later, a protocol was drawn up against him due to the lack of mention of his status in the publication (part 1 of article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
After the start of the war in Ukraine, Gelman, together with the Russian collector and philanthropist Igor Tsukanov, was going to hold the exhibition “The Ukrainian Way» at London's Saatchi Gallery. However, the management of the space canceled the event.
