MOSCOW, Dec 20 Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar published photo of a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Nazi symbols visible on his uniform.
The photos were taken in Artemivsk (Ukrainian name — Bakhmut). One of them depicts a Ukrainian soldier with an interpretation of the emblem of the SS division «Totenkopf» on his chest. So, in September, the President of Ukraine posted a photo with a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on whose uniform Nazi symbols were noticeable. He also attached a photograph of a soldier with the insignia of the SS division «Totenkopf» * on his chest to the post dedicated to «Victory over Nazism Day». In both cases, the scandalous publication was deleted after a while.
Earlier on Tuesday, Zelensky's press secretary Sergei Nikiforov said that the president had visited the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in Artemovsk.
Artemovsk is located in the Kyiv-controlled part of the DPR to north of the large city of Gorlovka. This is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian group of troops in the Donbass. A network of roads and railways passes through the city. Fierce battles are going on for Artemovsk.
