MOSCOW, 22 Dec. Ukraine's funding should be subject to scrutiny, in this the EU should take a cue from Hungary, said French politician Florian Filippo on his Twitter account.
«Hungary is the only European country that has requested an assessment of funds and weapons, sent to Ukraine!» the politician wrote.
He also noted that the EU turns a blind eye to the real purpose of the billions sent to Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky and that the need for audits of tranches for Kyiv should be an obvious necessity.
«Mafia and corrupt officials! Stop!» Filippo concluded.
Against the backdrop of a Russian special operation in Ukraine, the United States and its NATO allies are supporting Kyiv with arms supplies, the programs cost tens of billions of dollars. Moscow, for its part, has repeatedly stated that the supply of Western weapons only prolongs the conflict, and the transport of weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Russian army.
