UN Dec 21 UN would like to see peace in Ukraine in accordance with the Charter of the organization, said at a briefing the official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, in response to a request to comment on the allocation of a new package of US military assistance to Kyiv.

«We would like to see peace in Ukraine within the framework of international law and the UN Charter. We have seen the escalation of this conflict, we have seen the suffering of an increasing number of people. We would like to see the end of the conflict within the parameters of the UN Charter,» Dujarric said.
