Roskomnadzor blocked the new site of Dozhd, the TV channel reported.
According to journalists, the tvrain.tv domain stopped opening for users from Russia on December 22. The registry of Roskomnadzor indicates that access to it is limited. At the same time, the department did not specify at the request of which authority this was done.
According to the GlobalCheck service, all operators have already blocked the channel's website.
Press The Roskomnadzor service told TASS that Dozhd's new domain was blocked «due to the dissemination of prohibited information», in particular, because of materials about the war in Ukraine, the content of which contradicts the official data of the Russian authorities.
The previous website of the TV channel tvrain.ru was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office in the spring. Then Roskomnadzor noted that it posted information “with calls for extremist activity, violence, as well as deliberately false information regarding the actions of Russian military personnel as part of a special operation to protect the DPR and LPR.”
