The military enlistment office in Nizhnevartovsk was set on fire on the night of May 4. According to video from surveillance cameras, two men were standing at the entrance to the military registration and enlistment office, which is located on the first floor of a five-story building on Mira Street. One of them threw eight Molotov cocktails towards the door, after which the men ran away.

Glasses were broken in the military registration and enlistment office and the dressing room burned down, Mash claimed. The Ministry of Emergency Situations estimated the fire area at 1 square meter.
The accused were detained a week later, they were sent to a pre-trial detention center under articles on damage to property and hooliganism (part 2 of article 167, article 213 of the Criminal Code). In December, their case went to court with an article about a terrorist act committed by a group (clause “a” of part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code), which implies up to 20 years in prison.
