In Voronezh, at the Central Market, a stand was set up «about Nazism in Ukraine» with a photo of a retouched poster from the Moscow procession in 2009. The Vornadzor telegram channel drew attention to this.
Among the photographs of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels are photographs of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and deputy Yulia Tymoshenko, as well as a photograph from a rally with the slogan “Death to Russia!!! More kills.»

In fact, this is a retouched photo from a Moscow march in memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and Novaya Gazeta journalist Anastasia Baburova, who were killed on January 19, 2009. The procession itself took place in April 2009. The original version of the poster read «Your silence is an excuse for murder.»

In the photo from the Moscow rally and the picture from the Voronezh stand, you can notice the same blue streamers against the background of the demonstrators and the same arrangement of tree branches.
According to 7×7, local activist Alexander Zheltukhin filed an application with the prosecutor's office demanding to check the poster for inciting ethnic hatred (Article 282 of the Criminal Code).< /p>
In 2009, a neo-Nazi from the «Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists» Nikita Tikhonov shot and killed lawyer Stanislav Markelov, who represented the interests of anti-fascists and defended them in the courts. Novaya Gazeta journalist Anastasia Baburova, an anarchist and anti-fascist in her views, happened to be next to Markelov on the day of the murder. Tikhonov was sentenced to life imprisonment.
