MOSCOW, Dec 31 apply emergency power cuts, in Kyiv there are 300 consumer houses without electricity, which power engineers cannot power for technical reasons, the press service of the energy company DTEK reported.
«Emergency blackouts are taking place in the region. This is a necessary step to balance the power system and avoid equipment failures. Stabilization blackout schedules are not working yet!» — it is said in a message on the website of DTEK «Kyiv Regional Electric Grids».
The press service of DTEK reported on social networks that there are still about 300 houses in Kyiv, for which it is impossible to foresee a power outage due to technical features. It is reported that DTEK, together with the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), carried out large-scale work to ensure that the absolute majority of houses powered by the same lines as critical infrastructure fell under the shutdown. Thus, «alternative schemes» were created for 750 houses, DTEK noted.
